Acording to SunNews
The American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) has advised the Federal Government to partner the private security sector as a way to find lasting solution to the challenges posed by Boko Haram extremists.

The African Advisory Council Chairperson of the Association, Mrs. Victoria Ekhomu made this known yesterday at the body’s Annual General Meeting and election of new executives of the Association held in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Managing Director of Trans-World Security System Ltd said ASIS is a major player in the private security sector with the task of advancing security worldwide saying that with the spate of bombings by Boko Haram Islamic extremists and other security threats, the Federal Government must join hands with security experts in private sector to stem the menace.

According to her, while the government has the armed forces like soldiers, policemen and other security personnel, the actors in private sector have the knowledge and technology which can help overcome problems of insecurity in the country.
